چکیده
Abstract Background Tako-Tsubo syndrome (TTS) is a form of acute heart failure which mostly affects postmenopausal women, often following an emotional or physical trigger factor. There are many hypotheses for the development TTS but complete pathophysiology still remains unclear. Although most patients recover after few days, some have to be treated at intensive care unit (ICU) and may even die from condition. Purpose The aim this study was find out if pre-existing diseases, cardiovascular risk factors (CVRF), comorbidities any impact on short-term outcome patients. Methods Data all who presented our centre with 2009–2017 were gathered retrospectively. Baseline characteristics, including somatic psychiatric CVRF (smoking, hypertension, diabetes, dyslipidaemia) as well collected. Somatic diseases additionally categorised into cardiac, autoimmune, malignant other diseases. Admission post and/or in-hospital death defined poor outcome. Outcome predictors analysed binary logistic regression model using combined variable admission ICU death. Results Out 102 patients, 84 (82.4%) females 18 (17.6%) males median age 65±15 years. 30 (29.4%) had 23 (22.5%) 27 (26.5%) 88 (86.3%) disease. 33 (32.4%) smokers, 58 (56.3%) hypertension (17.5%) diabetics. 19 (18.6%) admitted 8 (7.8%) died. No baseline behaved significant independent predictor bad in Physical only (p=0.012). Conclusion Our showed that higher than no stressful before should therefore monitored closely. Interestingly, contrary cardiac do not seem TTS. Funding Acknowledgement Type funding sources: None.

متن کاملTako-tsubo syndrome and heart failure: long-term follow-up.
INTRODUCTION AND OBJECTIVES Tako-tsubo syndrome produces a variable degree of transient left ventricular dysfunction. Our objective was to determine the short- and long-term prognosis of this syndrome, the incidence of and risk factors for the development of heart failure, and the influence on heart failure on the long-term outcome in our patient population. METHODS We prospectively recorded ...
متن کاملTako-Tsubo syndrome in a pregnant woman.
We describe a rare case of Tako-Tsubo syndrome which occurred in a young woman at the beginning of pregnancy, who presented cardiac arrest at onset. In this case, the transient left ventricular ballooning involving both mid and apical segments, in absence of coronary artery disease, produced a severe impairment of cardiac function with typical echocardiographic and electrocardiographic findings...

We present a case of "inverted Tako-Tsubo" syndrome in a woman sedated with meperidine before undergoing a colonscopy. We discuss possible etiology of this ventricular dysfunction.
